2020 Breeding Shed Procedures for COVID-19


With all of the concerns regarding COVID-19, we at Airdrie Stud are trying to do our part in preventing the spread of the virus.  In doing so we have made a few changes to our booking and breeding procedures that we are asking everybody to follow effective immediately:


  1. We have designated a phone line exclusively for booking mares.Please call (859)550-7761 to book mares during the regular office hours. (Mon-Fri 8am to 4:30pm and Weekends 8am to Noon).As always, we can also be reached at the regular office number (859)873-7270 or through our General Manager, Ben Henley, at (859)552-7716.


  2. Please forward all required forms prior to bringing your mare to the shed.Email: [email protected], Text a picture: (859)550-7761, or Fax: (859)873-6140.


  3. If possible, please only send one person to the shed with your mare.



We will continue to monitor this situation closely with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local health officials. Please know that we will continue to take any and all measures necessary to ensure the well-being of our employees, customers, and community at large.
