Creative Cause's 3-year-old filly Star of Night made it two stakes wins in a row Saturday evening at Charles Town Races with a 4 3/4-length win in the $70,000 Breeders' Classic S.

The gray or roan filly has been excellent all year, winning five of her six starts, including the Bishop Memorial S. in her most recent outing before Saturday.

As she did in that race, Star of Night attended the pace and took over willingly coming into the stretch, then drew off in the lane to win with plenty in reserve.

Star of Night has now won five of seven races overall, with two seconds, and earned $127,284 for Huntertown Farm LLC. She was bred by Heinz Steinmann.
