Upstart moved into the second spot on the 2020 First-Crop sire list with two winners over the past two days. He now has sired 19 winners of 21 races after Social Chic won for the second time on Friday and Zoom Up broke her maiden at Fair Grounds Saturday afternoon.

Zoom Up won her six-furlong contest by a neck in a stirring four-horse stretch battle. Never far off the pace, Zoom Up was moving the best in the final sixteenth to get the well-earned victory (VIDEO).

Zoom Up races for Cosmic Racing LLC and was bred in Kentucky by Lantern Hill Farm LLC. Zoom Up sold for $75,000 at this year's OBS Spring 2-year-old sale.

Social Chic dominated a 6 1/2-furlong allowance race at Charles Town, scoring by four lengths for his second straight win (VIDEO). Trained by Jeff Runco for Smart Angle LLP, the dark bay was bred by James Miller. Through his fourth dam, Social Chic is related to champion 2-year-old colt War Pass and Spinaway S. (G1) winner Oath.
