A Grade 1 winning son of Storm Cat, Harlan sired only 5 crops before his early death, including multiple Grade 1 winners Menifee and Harlan's Holiday and Grade 2 winners Owsley and Wandering. Grandsire Storm Cat has sired more than 100 stakes winners and five champions and his sons at stud include Stormin Fever, Forest Wildcat, Hennessy and Giant's Causeway making him one of the northern hemispheres most influential sires of the Northern Dancer line.
