  • 2yo colt RUN CURTIS RUN wires the field to win by 4 in the Rick Violette Stakes at Saratoga on July 21st. First time out at Belmont Park, the colt was able to overcome a slow start with a victory after a game stretch run. Both wins came on the main track for trainer Mike Maker, owners Michael Dubb and Michael Caruso and breeder Larry Goichman. 
  • Another main-track SW for the 3yo filly, SHEA D SUMMER, her second stakes win of the summer with a win in the Azalea Stakes at Gulfstream Park on August 7th. Purchased for $200,000 at the 2019 Fasig-Tipton July yearling sale by Scott Leeds' Walking L Thoroughbreds, he is named for a Houston venue that provides help and housing for veterans suffering from PTSD.
