SARATOGA CITIZENS: THE BRILLIANT TRICKMEISTER AND TRACK-RECORD-SETTER FIDDLER'S PATRIOT GIVE PROUD CITIZEN A MONSTER WEEKEND AT THE SPA

The undefeated, and wholly untested, Trickmeiseter put on another brilliant display Friday with a truly authoritative 10 length win in Saratoga's Pleasant Colony Stakes.  Bringing his record to a perfect 4 for 4, Trickmeister cemented his name atop the list of the nation's most exciting 3-year-old colts and continues to give every indication that he is a true star in the making.  Early indications are that he will put his undefeated record to the GII $1 million Pennsylvania Derby for his next start.

However, Trickmeister was not Proud Citizen's only breakthrough performer at Saratoga, as his talented son Fiddler's Patriot, remarkably making his first grass start, set a new Saratoga stakes record on Monday in his facile, 5-length allowance romp, running 5 1/2 furlongs in a remarkable 1:00 2/5...yet another Proud Citizen with a very bright future indeed.

THINK ABOUT IT!

Delaware Park 1 1/16 miles

PROUD CITIZEN's 3YO *TDN RISING STAR* TRICKMEISTER remained undefeated with a convincing Wire-to-Wire score in the Barbaro Stakes at Delaware Park for trainer Cindy Jones...  ... a win so impressive it was given a higher Beyer Speed Figure than the brilliant BLIND LUCK's Grade II Delaware Oaks win on the same day, at the same track, at the same distance!

Record: 3-3-0-0, $106,200.

STILL MOTIVATED: Proud Citizen's Graded Stakes Winner Motovato repeats in Calder's Sumter Stakes

$55,000 Sumter S.
Caler Racecourse 1M 70 yards

Back to defend his title in the 2010 edition of Calder's Sumter Stakes, Proud Citizen's graded stakes winning son Motovato did not disappoint, winning the race impressively with a 101 Beyer Speed Figure.  Trained by Marty Wolfson for the partnership of Team Valor and Gary Barber, Motovato continues to be one of the nation's most talented and consitant older horses in training.

Congratulations to all his connections, including breeder's Elizabeth Jones and Brownel Alexander.
