A huge storm system that that eventually dumped 2 feet of snow on the eastern seabord states coated central Kentucky in an inch of ice. The effect of the ice on trees and powerlines was devastating and much of Lexington and surrounding counties were without power and telephones for a week.
Apart from a few cancellations of mares that were unable to make the treacherous journey our breeding shed operated normally throughout, even in the dark and cold!
