
The third day of the Keeneland September Yearling sale saw the first yearling by Creative Cause go through the ring, with Shadai Farm emerging the winning bidder at $500,000 for the dark bay colt.
Airdrie Stud’s Brereton Jones was the consignor of hip No. 585. The Kentucky-bred is the first foal out of the four-time stakes winner Overvalued.
Creative Cause leads all Second-Crop sires of 2017 by black-type wins with 10 and ranks in the top 10 in several other categories
Creative Cause has a total of 25 lots remaining in the sale, which runs through Sept. 23.
