Lounge Act was ultra-impressive in her turf debut Friday at Gulfstream Park, rolling to a 7 1/2-length maiden special weight victory in the five-furlong contest for 2-year-old fillies.
She is the 20th winner this year for Creative Cause, one of the top figures among all North American Second-Crop sires of 2017.
Trained by Wesley Ward for owner/breeder Brian Kahn, Lounge Act was chased by Arabella Bella until the top of the stretch, when she put away her foe with a swift turn of foot while under a hand ride the entire way.
Lounge Act is the second foal out of Hallelujah Trail, a multiple stakes-placed daughter of Gilded Time.
