A WALK IN THE PARK: DIVINE PARK’S DANCINGINTHECIRCLE DOMINATES THE $100,000 BY THE LIGHT STAKES BY 9 LENGTHS

Divine Park, the nation’s #1 first-crop sire by 2012 yearling average, has already established some major momentum with his first-crop three-year-olds in 2013.  Headlining the group is the Larry Jones trained Dancinginthecircle, an effortless 9-length winner of the recent By the Light Stakes and now a major contender for the $500,000 Fair Grounds Oaks.

Divine Park is also the sire of another G1 Kentucky Oaks candidate in the Grade 1-placed filly Blonde Fog.  Named a TDN Rising Star after her hugely impressive 12-length debut victory for trainer Bob Baffert, she returned to run an impressive 2nd in the Grade 1 Hollywood Starlet despite giving up major race experience to her main rivals.  Last week also saw the second career start of 8-length MSW winner Divine Ambiton, who returned with a close-up 3rd in a difficult listed stakes at Tampa Downs.

Between his leading yearling sale performance and the major momentum of his first-crop runners, Divine Park continues to sport the look of a genuine stallion star in the making.
