A Winning Week for Stormin Fever.

STORMIN FEVER progeny prove themselves in the Auction Ring and on the Racetrack!

A winning week for yearling consignors at Keeneland’s September Sale started as STORMIN FEVER’s first 13 yearlings through the ring averaged $99,231, including a full-brother to multiple Grade 1 winner TARLOW bringing a hefty $410,000 final bid from trainer John Service for John Porter’s Fox Hill Farm.

And on the Racetrack, his week took off on  9/18 with a near Grade 2 stakes win in Japan by FUSAICHI AUSTER who missed by just a neck against 14 other runners.
Then on 9/20 he had TWO two-year-old winners, CAPTIVE STORM breaking her maiden in her first start, and BEST GUESS breaking her maiden in her second start in England.
Then on 9/22 the talented FELLOWSHIP ROAD returned to form and squashed a top field in a Woodbine $62,800 Allowance, winning by 5 easy lengths.

The end to a great week came on 9/24 when multiple stakes winning filly SWEET TALKER returned to form after a three month layoff.  She notched up her third stakes win taking Laurel Park’s $150,000 Martha Washington Breeders’ Cup Stakes by 1 1/4 lengths.
Lifetime: 12-6-2-1, $372,723.
