Commander’s Affair wins second straight at Fair Grounds

Feb 13th – Fair Grounds $30,000 ALW 1m40y.  Sent off as the 7-5 Favorite, Commander’s Affair bounded out of the gate and set a pressured pace, he was headed through the stretch by Astral Plane who had been stalking him the whole way, but Commander’s Affair dug in again gamely during the final furlong and won by 3/4 length.  His record is now 5-2-1-1 with earnings of $44,120.
