Always held in high regard in the Greg Foley barn, Stormin Fever’s talented daughter Valentine Fever registered a breakout performance on Saturday as she annihilated a quality field in Turfway Park’s Cincinnati Trophy Stakes, running away to an effortless 8-length score. Always traveling well, the filly ended all suspense with a powerful move in the turn and was never threatened as she extendended her dominant lead to the wire. Valentine Fever represents Stormin Fever’s 2nd stakes horse already in 2008, after Stormin Baghdad registered a 104 Beyer Speed Figure in the Grade III Gaudin S. at Fair Grounds last weekend, and is her sire’s fifth impressive winner in the last 8 days!
