Sporting blinkers for his first outing he jumped smartly from the gate and shrugged off rivals on the turn. Jockey Edgar Prado had him clipping through fractions of :22.1 and :44.4 and the colt powered home under a hand ride, widening his advantage to six lengths at the wire to close out the win in 1:03 for the 5 1/2 furlongs.
