FOREST CAMP filly wins GRADE II Nassau County BCup Stakes at Belmont on Derby Day!

Belmont Park, Saturday May 6th.
Nassau County Breeders’ Cup S. (Grade II)
7 furlongs, $205,600.

HELLO LIBERTY’s career is blooming with back to back stakes wins at the start of her 3 year old campaign.  A standout winner 3 weeks ago in Delaware Park’s six furlong Peach Blossom Stakes set the stage for her step up to graded stakes company. Hello Liberty raced up in close second through the half, in fractions of :22.1 and 44.3.  Entering the stretch she was three lengths back and steadily kicked on, digging deep to wear down the leader, finally getting up late to be the best by a neck at the wire.  She ran the 7 furlongs in 1:22.3 carrying top weight.  Trainer Larry Jones says a possible next start for the filly will be the June 10th Grade 1 Acorn Stakes.

With 4 wins in 7 starts her earnings increase to $233,314.
