Sent off as the race favorite off his sensational win in the G3 Hollywood Prevue, Your Tent or Mine was a narrowly beaten second in the 25th renewel of the prestigious G1 Hollywood Futurity. Following a hard bump at the start of the race that spurred a steward’s inquiry and spotting eventual winner Brother Derek several lengths over the speed favoring Hollywood surface, Your Tent or Mine was gaining late to be beaten a mere length in his first effort around two turns. Upon dismounting, top jockey Patrick Valenzuela described his rough trip; “Those things happen..unfortunately it happened to me. Nonetheless, he ran a great race! He was coming to the other horse at the wire, finishing strong.” Without question, Your Tent or Mine has established himself as one of the nation’s premier two year olds and seems destined for a major three year old campaign under Hall of Fame trainer Neil Drysdale!
