GETTING BACK INTO MISCHIEF: HARLAN’S HOLIDAY COLT DOMINATES ON BREEDER’S CUP DAY!

On racing’s showcase day, Harlan’s Holiday’s Into Mischief delivered a performance truly befitting the occasion.  Making his first start since being prematurely taken off the Kentucky Derby trail due to a foot issue, the 2007 GI Hollywood Futurity winner resurfaced on Breeder’s Cup day in dazzling fashion; securing his place as one of the nation’s top 3-year-old colts.  While his time for the 7-furlongs was a blistering 1:20 1/5, it was the effortless manor in which he pulled away from a full field that included GI winner Geogie Boy that made it such an impressive demonstration.  The early favorite for the season ending GI Malibu Stakes at Hollywood Park, Into Mischief continues Harlan’s Holiday’s tremendous start at stud, as his first crop 3-year-olds have amassed more than $4 million in earnings.

Congratulations and best of luck to owner B. Wayne Hughes and trainer Richard Mandella with this exciting 3-year-old colt!
