The Airdrie team was very proud that our great trainer and friend Larry Jones recorded his 1,000th win on Saturday with one of our homebreds, as our breakout 3-year-old colt He’ll Pay took the $100,000 Rushaway Stakes impressively. Co-bred with WinStar farm, He’ll Pay has now won two-in-a-row, and his impressive 90 Beyer Speed figure was at least 8 points higher than both the GIII Spiral and GIII Bourbonette Stakes run on the same card. Now being pointed to graded stakes, this talented colt looks poised to continue the great momentum Haynesfield has established with his first-crop of three-year-olds.
