A stakes winning juvenile last year, Include’s talented 3-year-old filly Hartigan showed that 2008 could prove even better with a convincing win in Saturday’s Hilltop Stakes at Pimlico. Like so many of the Include’s, Hartigan appears to relish the extra ground and gives every indication that she will only improve with both distance and maturity. Saddled by trainer Richard Small, who has conditioned several impressive Include performers, including the multiple stakes colt Etude for the Fitzhugh stable, Hartigan appears poised for a very strong campaign.
