Three fillies and four colts sold for an average of over $162,000 at the recent Fasig-Tipton Calder Selected Sale of 2-Y-O’s in Training on February 25, 2003.
MAZEL TRICK’s sale topper, a dark bay or brown colt out of TEN TOES (named “TEN TRICKS”), consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, sold for $300,000 to Eugene Melnyk. The colt worked in 10.1 on February 16th!
Two fillies were co-sale toppers at $150,000 each: a chestnut filly out of PARTIAL DOON (worked in 21.3 on February 16th) and a bay filly out of PRETTY IS (worked in 10.3 on February 16th).
Just wait for them to hit the track!!
