MISTY ROSETTE had a super confidence builder here and an easy win under Jockey Chris DeCarlo. Misty Rosette has now won 4 out of 6 starts including the G3 Old Hat stakes at Gulfstream, and was sent off as even money favorite when the race was rained off the turf. Breaking from the 2nd post she rushed to the front and dueled through the slop with Pure Disco in splits of 21:2 and 44:2. Asked by DeCarlo leaving the turn she easily distanced herself from the field and was under the wire 4 1/4 lengths from rivals in 1:03.1.
