MORE PASSION: CANADIAN FRONTIER’S HILDA’S PASSION RUNS AWAY WITH KEENELAND’S GII RAVEN RUN STAKES

GII $250,000 Lexus Raven Run Stakes
Keeneland Racecourse    7F

Sometimes you gotta show you can do it again.  Despite the fact that she was coming off a devastating victory in a listed stakes at Saratoga, where she had run the field off their feet to win by more than 8 lengths, Hilda’s Passion was given only a 6-1 chance to recreate that effort as she made the step up to graded stakes company in Keeneland’s GII Raven Run Stakes on Saturday.  She will not be underestimated again.  Following her dominant win, where she stopped the clock in a blistering 1:21 1/5 for the 7 furlongs, Hilda’s Passion now takes her place as one of the nation’s fastest springting 3-year-old fillies.

Trained by Todd Pletcher for Starlight Partners and C.E Glasscock, and bred by Mr. and Mrs Theodore Kuster, Hilda’s Passion marks the 4th stakes winner from just 42 registered foals from Canadian Frontier’s blossoming second crop of  3-year-olds, joining 2010’s multiple graded stakes winning filly No Such Word.
