NEWS FLASH: AIRDRIE STUD’S FLASHY BULL IS THE #1 FRESHMAN STALLION IN AMERICA

On a weekend that may have set the tone for the rest of the freshman stallion season, Flashy Bull became the Nation’s #1 first-crop sire when his daughters Born Bullish and Flashy Lassie made major statements on the biggest of stages.  Bet down to 7-5 for her debut in a typically tough Belmont Park 2-year-old maiden special weight, Born Bullish made her low odds look like a bargain when she won off by the easiest of 9 lengths.  A great result in it’s own right, it served as just a preview of what lay ahead.  Coming off a huge, open length victory in her debut, Flashy Bull’s talented daughter, Flashy Lassie, confirmed that her first win was no fluke, as she came from the back of the pack to win Churchill Downs’ Grade III Debutante Stakes on Saturday.  Now the Nation’s leading freshman stallion, a remarkable feat for a horse that was at his best with added ground and maturity, Flashy Bull is giving every indication that he is a stallion with a big, BIG future.

Congratulations to all the connections of these exciting 2-year-old fillies.
