
      Following a dominant performance in her debut that merited her a TDN Rising Star, owners Glencrest and Dapple Farms and trainer Doug O’Neill felt they had a filly special enough to take on the boys- a decision that was validated nearly the second the starting gate opened on Sunday when Necesary Evil grabbed the lead and never once looked threatened in the GIII Hollywood Prevue.  The easiest of three length winners, Necesary Evil stopped the clock in 1:09 and change for the 6 furlongs and quickly staked her claim as California’s most exciting 2-year-old in training.  Congratulations to all the connections of this brilliant young filly!
