Our Majesty rules in Oaklawn debut

Our Majesty, Majesticperfection’s latest star on the racing scene, debuted in stellar fashion Feb. 10 at Oaklawn Park, scoring by 5 1/2-lengths in a six-furlong maiden special weight contest for 3-year-old fillies (VIDEO).

Trained by Ron Moquett for It’s All About The Girls Stable, Our Majesty got an ideal trip under Rafael Santana, Jr. After breaking very sharply, the bay filly settled just off the flank of Milady Rocks before taking over at the head of the stretch, then pulled away powerfully to stop the timer in 1:10.34 for an 82 Beyer Speed Figure.

Bred by Brereton Jones, the winner was bought by her owners for $150,000 at the OBS Horses of Racing Age last June. Our Majesty is a half-sister to multiple stakes winners Overvalued and I Spy Wolfie.
