Congratulations to Sheikh Hamdan al Maktoum for an excellent win by 2YO Silver Hawk colt ALMUSHAHAR. The Doncaster Rothmans Royals Champagne S. (G2) was his second straight win in as many tries and trainer David Loder ranks his performance on a par with those of Dubai Millenium and Dubai Destination. The performance has earned Almushahar early favorite status for next years G1 2000 Guineas. Connections indicate his final start this year could come in Newmarket’s G1 Dewhurst Stakes on October 19th.
