Undefeated SHARP IMPACT is now a stakes winner in his second start; sent off as the favorite he showed impressive speed and running style to win yesterday’s Spectacular Bid Stakes at Arlington and is pointed toward the Arlington-Washington Futurity later this month. Ray Sibille rode the $425,000 FTK July yearling who covered the six furlongs in a stakes record 1:10.29 over a fast track.
