Siphon 3YO wins in Japan

GOLD MAZINGER – three-year-old colt out of Miss Applause by Fappiano ($80,000 2YO Keeneland 2003) ran third in his first start and came back here at Nakayama to win by daylight in a 1 1/8 mile Novice race. Reported in the TDN as “ran a stalking second before inhaling the pacesetter and romping clear by nine lengths.”
