SIS CITY competes in Breeders’ Cup Juvenile

Talented 2YO filly SIS CITY, trained by Richard Dutrow, made the trip to Lone Star Park very worthwhile and showed that she is a top contender amongst the worlds best juveniles this year.  “SIS CITY was carried wide on the first turn, pressed the pace from the outside for five furlongs, surged to the front on the far turn, continued on the lead into upper stretch, battled heads apart into midstretch then weakened under pressure in the final eighth.”  What a gutsy run she made to finish fourth in a tight race, defeating the likes of Sharp Lisa, Culinary and Sense of Style winner of the Matron (G1) and Spinaway (G2).
We look forward to seeing more of this game filly.

On the same Saturday at Woodbine, 4YO FANTASTIC DAY ran a game second to Canadian Horse of the Year WANDO in a $76,000 Allowance – breaking his winning streak – taking his record to 18-7-5-1 and earnings of $343,317.
