SPRING PREVIEWS: DIVINE PARK REPRESENTED BY TWO SENSATIONAL TWO-YEAR-OLD WINNERS AT CHURCHILL DOWNS

For owners of a quality two-year-old, nothing stokes the imagination more than an impressive win at Churchill Downs in November. Divine Park was responsible for two of the most impressive juvenile winners at the recently concluded Churchill meet, and the connections of both seem well justified in expecting big three-year-old campaigns out of their two rising stars. The Larry Jones trained Divine View, a $110,000 September yearling, generated major backstretch buzz following his impressive debut, as he circled the field with a bold move on the turn and only lengthened his advantage through the stretch to win by 2 1/2 lengths. He is now being pointed to the $250,000 Springboard Mile Stakes with an eye towards the major three-year-old stakes at Fair Grounds.

The meet’s closing day crowd was treated to a hugely impressive victory by Divine Park’s $260,000 sales grad Homesick Angel. Bet down to 8-5 to get the job done, her quick turn of foot at the head of the stretch ended all drama immediately as she cruised to an easy 5-length score. Owned by Sierra Farm and trained by Phil Simms, Homesick Angel has positioned herself to make some big noise in the top three-year-old filly races at Oaklawn Park this winter and spring.

Best of luck to all the connections of these two exciting Divine Park juveniles!
