The Airdrie homebred Keep Crossing, an easy 3-Length winner of Monmouth Park’s Red Cross Stakes on June 20th, becomes Istan’s 3rd stakes winner from his 4-year-old cop- an incredible number given that the entire crop consists of just 12 named foals and also includes the very talented graded stakes colt Myositis Dan. With an identical strike rate of graded takes winners to foals as the great Tapit and hugely impressive AE Index to Comp Index figures of 1.48 to 1.29, it has become clear that Istan is a seriously talented stallion that is poised for a major breakout as his mare numbers continue to increase.
