In two races meant for the turf (Belmont race was moved to the dirt), two Siphon colts showed their versatility on either surface by winning in determined fashion.
Entitlement, was never far back and gained the lead to prevail after a five-wide bid in the 1 mile Churchill Downs contest on the turf.
Sharp Impact, in a 1 1/8 race taken off the turf at Belmont Park, was hustled to the lead where he remained to win by 1 1/4 lengths.
Both colts performed brilliantly in 2nd races from layoffs and should improve to once again compete in stakes company.
