SLEW CITY SLEW’S 39TH STAKES WINNER emerged this week for trainer Donnie Von Hemel. SLEW BY SLEW, a dark bay colt out of the Pine Bluff mare Cradlesong won the $50,000 Centennial Stakes at Remington Park in just his fifth start. The colt covered the mile on the soft turf in 1:39.85 and won by a 1 1/2 length margin.
