INDIAN BREEZE broke her maiden at first asking June 1st at Hollywood and stepped up to stakes company a month later. Purchased for $130,000 in 2004 at the Keeneland September sale, owner William Peeples has always been impressed with her conformation and balance.
INDIAN BREEZE forced the pace outside the favorite River’s Prayer (Devon Lane) and the two drew away from rivals leaving the turn. INDIAN BREEZE, under the urging of Tyler Baze, determinedly wore down River’s Prayer to be 3/4 clear at the wire.
