
A filly from the first crop of GI Met Mile winner Yankee Victor (Saint Ballado) attracted a final bid of $575,000 to top yesterday’s opening session of the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale in Florida. Out of graded stakes placed Betamillion Bock (Bet Twice), she was consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, agent, and was purchased by Narvick International. This long-legged bay filly sold for $32,000 as a yearling at Keeneland last September. At the sale’s under tack show, she worked a furlong in :10.3 Mar. 6 and two furlongs Mar. 13 in :21.2.
